lumen is honest about its sources because it has to be — and because attribution is the polite settlement for building on things people give away. This page is the complete list.

License

lumen is released under the Apache License 2.0. The canonical text lives in the repository root.

Chrome UX Report (CrUX)

Field data — real-user Core Web Vitals — comes from the Chrome UX Report. Per Google’s terms: “The CrUX datasets from Google are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license.” Accordingly, any CrUX-derived value lumen shows is labeled with its source, and this notice applies wherever that data appears.

Tranco

Top-site ranking data comes from the Tranco list, whose terms require attribution: Victor Le Pochat, Tom Van Goethem, Samaneh Tajalizadehkhoob, Maciej Korczyński, and Wouter Joosen, “Tranco: A Research-Oriented Top Sites Ranking Hardened Against Manipulation”, 28th USENIX Security Symposium (2019). lumen caches the list locally and labels every derived rank with its source.

Open PageRank

Domain page-rank scores come from Open PageRank (browser-extension crawl data, distributed via Keywords Everywhere). Factual reference; scores are labeled with the provider wherever shown.

Wikimedia

Pageview counts used as a demand proxy come from the Wikimedia APIs, whose guidelines require a meaningful User-Agent with contact information — lumen sends one, and honors 429s and Retry-After.

Design note

Visual design inspired by pi.dev; tokens reimplemented from scratch. The resemblance is a matter of palette and typography vocabulary — every asset, wordmark, figure and sentence on this site was authored for lumen.
